Celebrity Softball Game at Vintage Throne Stadium, home of the Baycats, with local celebrities stepping up to the plate to hit Home Runs 4 the hungry with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Barrie Food Bank.
APRIL 14, 2023 - F45 CHALLENGE TO RAISE FUNDS TO SEND A KID TO CAMP
A local event to raise funds to Send Kids to Camp. Baycats Players, staff and mascot will be in attendance to workout and train with members of Barrie South West, owner Mitch's team as well fans of the Baycats who can drop in to support all day.

7th annual winter carnival at the heights of Horseshoe Ski Club. A day of live music, silent auctions, skiing, horse drawn sleigh rides and fun for the whole family. All proceeds raised go towards the Forward Hearts Program, which donates defibrillators to charity and non-profit organizations across Canada.

Coaches and Players offered a hand to move the Barrie Families Unite items from their Warehouse to the Bayfield Mall for their 3rd annual FREE Winter Outerwear Pop-up Shop. Barrie Families unite is generally swimming in winter outerwear donations in past years but donations were way down. Previous pop up shops help over 600 families to secure appropriate winter items to keep everyone warm over the winter season.

A night of tradition that goes back well over a decade, the Barrie Baycats welcomed over 350 Canadian Cadets to the game with tremendous gratitude for their service and dedication to our country.
JUNE 9, 2022: HEALTH CARE WORKERS APPRECIATION NIGHT AT THE BALLPARK
The Barrie Baycats invited and welcomed over 500 Health Care workers and their families to a tremendous and memorable night at the ballpark. Just coming out of COVID-19 and all the event protocols it was a necessary night out for all and a way to recognize and appreciate how important the health industry was during a time of need.

An exhibition game prior to the season for the Baycats that brought out fans and raised funds, food and awareness for the Barrie Food Bank by offering free entry to the game with a can of non-perishable food item or donation at the gate.

Hosting their sixth annual Family Day at the Barrie Community Sports Complex, the City of Barrie welcomed Barrie Baycats general and field manager Josh Matlow, bench coach Andrew White, pitching coach Brad Grieveson, reliever Cole White, first basemen Ryan Rijo, and outfielder Branfy Infante to the event, all of whom took part in a meet and greet with our loyal fans.

SPRING 2020: BAYCATS STEP UP TO THE PLATE FOR RVH
The Baycats -- in partnership with the Royal Victoria Hospital -- took part in an online auction to raise funds for our frontline workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic. People bid for the chance to have hitting lessons with three-time IBL champion Ryan Rijo and pitching lessons with pitching coach Brad Grieveson. 2021 Season Tickets and 2021 Season Flex Packs were also bid on.

First basemen Ryan Rijo, outfielder James Anderson, and In-Game Host Ryan Rijo read their favourite childhood books on behalf of the Barrie Public Library during the peak of the pandemic -- physical-distancing style!

The Barrie Baycats Baseball Club is excited to announce that we will be selling "Not Cancelled" -- a book recently co-authored by Baycats volunteer Catherine Kenwell -- on our online shop as a fundraiser with Barrie Native Friendship Centre.

09/18/20: COOL CAT HELPS TIM HORTONS SELL SMILE COOKIES
Cool Cat went over to Tim Hortons at 533 Bayfield Street near the stadium to help support the current smile cookie campaign that donated 100% of all funds collected from cookies to over 550 Canadian charities. Cool Cat worked the drive-through, convincing customers ordering with his cool smooth ways to help support and buy a cookie.
